LORE & BACKGROUND

The Sekhaton are haunted by memories of a grand past, when their kind ruled the earth and warmbloods were mere pests to be crushed. The long memories of the reptilian kindred do not bear their ignominy well, and it drives them to desperate deeds.

Traditionally, tribes were led by a Shamanic Leader, or Bokor, who guided the tribe’s needs and performed ancestor worship rituals. As their situation has become increasingly dire, these traditions have decayed, giving rise to darker beliefs among the priesthood.

Now, necromancers have emerged, wielding fearsome power over the dead. They promise the resurrection of the Sekhaton’s colossal ancestors, and with their return, the restoration of the Sekhaton’s rightful dominion over the warmbloods.
