New Miniatures | September 2025 | Church of the Acarid
|
|
September skitters onto the scene with a new miniatures collection of parasitic horrors and an accompanying terrain pack - something we know many of you have been begging for.
Alongside the new releases, we’re also breathing fresh life into a Bestiarum classic with a remaster of the original Gorgon Catacombs set, now renamed to the more thematically fitting Church of the Acarid.
September’s miniature collection expands the Church of the Acarid faction with an array of grotesque new models. At the heart of this release lies the story of a doomed church, raised in honor of the Sainted Mother, a vast tomb carved beneath its foundations, and, most importantly, the skittering terror unearthed when the earth below was disturbed.
Joining the miniatures is a versatile terrain pack designed to bring the ruined church to life. Use it to:
Recreate the decaying temple itself
Populate your battle maps with evocative furniture
Build atmospheric dioramas
Get creative with kitbashes and conversions
This set is super modular, and contains some extremely useful sub-parts - which we’re sure the crafters amongst you put to great use.
We can’t wait to see what you do with these pieces!
Note: Some terrain, like the large pit and platforms , is designed specifically for FDM printing . These structural pieces don’t suit resin but print beautifully on FDM machines.
A brand-new Faction Book accompanies this release, fully reimagining the original lore. The Church now serves as a cautionary tale of faith and folly within the Azerai Empire, revealing new, darker secrets of the Faith.
Inside, you’ll also find a full suite of 5e-ready statblocks and narrative inspiration. Expect parasitic horrors that spread quickly, latch onto unsuspecting adventurers, and threaten to consume their very will, a delightfully grotesque addition to any campaign.
Alongside the new models, we’ve remastered the original Gorgon Catacombs collection for improved printability, build experience, and versatility.
We’re especially excited about the modular loadouts now available for Pilgrims and Warriors, making them cross-compatible with our Trench Conversion Kit , perfect for anyone looking to build a Black Grail Warband. Hail Beelzebub!
