February is here and brings with it a selection of the finest pork - although these pigs have something else on their menu entirely (it's human and pumpkin). Say hello to this month's miniatures collection and accompanying faction pack of the Swine Raid, our latest expansion to the Beastmen roster.
This new collection delivers a decidedly meaty new addition to the Beastmen, a tribe of porcine terrors bent on raiding, pillaging and feasting themselves upon the spoils. Plus - an awesome Plundered Cart terrain set, and an extremely beleaguered hero.
The crew had a tonne of fun with these models, squeezing loads of character into every pose, from the most pitiful Piglet to the fleshy mass of the Porcine Juggernaut, let’s check ‘em out.
A mentioned before, this release sees the addition of a Plundered Cart terrain set, complete with accompanying dead horse and scattered pumpkins and bodies of the unfortunate who came face to snout with these gluttonous brutes. As the lone survivor of this raid, we've also included the Travelling Merchant called Bartev heroically defending his cart from the onslaught.
This terrain set is ideal for a wide range of scenarios common to any TTRPG or wargaming setting - we'd love to hear what you're planning to use it for!
As always, the models are joined by a Faction Pack - beyond the usual 5e Statblocks, this month’s book contains a wealth of lore and inspiration on these cheeky swine, offering advice on how to drop a gluttonous and chaotic Swine Raid down upon your unsuspecting party as they travel the lonesome roadways of the Empire.
We’d be remiss not to mention our monthly painting competition - this January has seen an awesome array of Acarids and we can’t wait to see what you’ll cook up with these Swine.
