LORE & BACKGROUND

Grave Hounds serve as relentless guardians of necromantic domains, haunting tombs and cryptbound halls. These canine abominations are not simply raised, they are constructed from rotted sinew, gnawed bone, and corpse remnants, then filled with bound souls to give them flickering, cruel life.

Their unstable forms twist and split with unnatural motion. Maws gape in impossible ways, lined with jagged bone and scorched meat. Balefire licks their spines, while anguished faces press outward from their flesh, screaming, snarling, or gazing in silent grief.

Crafted to sense the tremor of life and sorrow, they stalk their master’s territory with tireless vigilance. They neither rest nor wait for command. Instead of howling, they shriek. And when they strike, it is with soul-fueled fury, fast, merciless, and unrelenting.
