Torment Collective | The Anatomists

LORE & BACKGROUND

The Torment Collective is among the most grotesque constructs birthed by the Anatomists, a monstrous fusion of still-living bodies, melded into one mass of sinew, steel, and unrelenting anguish. Pierced by blades, bound in torn muscle, and locked within a lattice of pain, its victims are fully conscious. They do not guide it. They scream within it.

This horror moves not through magic or control, but through the spasmic reflexes of tortured flesh. Limbs jerk, muscles twitch, and broken joints grind against each other as it drags itself forward. Dozens of eyes peer from folds of meat. Mouths gape in agony, rage, or senseless howling. The voices inside never fall silent.

There is no harmony within the mass, only pain. Yet when commanded, the Collective surges into terrifying synchronicity, lashing out with spikes, limbs, and teeth. It does not choose targets. It simply destroys.

To the Anatomists, this is not a mistake. It is art. A living question carved into meat: how much can flesh endure, and how many can be bound into one screaming whole?
