LORE & BACKGROUND

The Fruiting Body cuts a horrific, shambling silhouette, a grotesque amalgamation of thrall flesh and fungal matter. As an apex form in the Mortifera’s peculiar growth cycle, this swaying mass is filled to bursting with spores and continues to generate yet more.

As it lumbers forward with a shambolic, crawling gait, flesh spores break off and fall from the Fruiting Body, quickly seeking refuge in dark corners or warm bodies, where they can gestate and grow.
