Cherubs | Echoes of the Seraphim

LORE & BACKGROUND

The Cherubs are lesser manifestations of the Seraphim, their forms smooth and eyeless save for a single great ocular orb. Gliding through the still air of the Templums, they act as extensions of their masters’ perception, ever watchful and without emotion. They drift in graceful silence, wings moving with eerie precision, observing both the faithful and the unworthy. When the sacred sanctums are disturbed, they respond as one, sometimes gathering in quiet vigil, sometimes descending in blinding fury. Their attacks are swift and wordless, leaving no trace but silence. Many among the cults believe they herald the arrival of higher Seraphic beings, their presence a sign that the gaze of Yesod is near. To mortals, they are omens of divine attention, neither comfort nor warning, but simply the act of being seen.
