Commander Primus on Manticore

LORE & BACKGROUND

Some Commanders of the Penitent Crusade are elevated further still, bonded to great Manticore warbeasts, fleshcrafted monsters of leonine muscle, barbed wings, and barely contained rage. These mounts serve not out of loyalty, but submission. Through raw will and cruel dominance, the Commander-Primus imposes order on these avatars of divine wrath.

Clad in massive plate, etched with the radiant sigil of Azerai’s new dawn, the mounted Commander becomes a terrifying battlefield overseer. The height of the saddle grants vision across the melee, and the Manticore’s wings provide brutal mobility, plunging the pair into the heart of conflict with bone-breaking force.

Wielding a colossal warhammer and commanding from above, the Commander-Primus on Manticore is both general and executioner, a living sermon of faith and fury. Rumors persist that these riders are no longer entirely human, their strength and monstrous rapport the result of grim pacts. Whatever the truth, they are unmatched in might and symbolism, a dread beacon at the vanguard of the Azerai’s righteous war.
