The haunting chorus that emanates from these pitiful shades is what lends the Wailing Leviathan its name.
Supported by immense, trunk-like legs, its gargantuan form resembles a walking fortress crafted from the shattered remnants of a mighty seafaring vessel. However, the materials and craftsmanship surpass even the talents of Azerai’s most esteemed engineers and blacksmiths. Though the origin of this sunken ship remains shrouded in mystery, its ruined and corrupted state bears testament to its creation by hands and minds far beyond those of Doaden.
Functioning as a mobile prison, the leviathan's hollow body is filled with victims, echoing with the anguished cries of the damned and the clangour of its infernal construction. To summon this behemoth into the mortal realm would take a ritual of such terrible anguish that it does not bear considering, and the chaos and damage the Leviathan’s manifestation would cause would certainly be the stuff of legend.
