LORE & BACKGROUND

Sewn Vessels are attendant-creations of the Anatomists, fashioned entirely for service. Each was once human, stripped of flesh and remade into a thing of obedience. Their bodies are draped in layers of re-stitched skin that hang like robes, while their faces remain unfinished masks of chattering teeth, sealed eyes, or empty sockets.

Despite their ruin, they perceive their masters with unsettling certainty. They turn toward voice or gesture as if guided by an instinct buried deep within their altered forms. Around their creators, they move in close formation, gurgling softly as they work. Tools are passed with trembling precision, implements are held steady without hesitation, and when needed, their frail-looking hands become unyielding restraints.

Little remains of the mind inside a Sewn Vessel. Agony has stripped away higher thought, leaving only obedience and a dim awareness of purpose. They stand as servants, warnings, and proof of the Anatomists’ craft.
