LORE & BACKGROUND

Among swinekind, a rare few grow into monstrous aberrations: living slabs of meat whose bulk heaves with every step. These brutes are not bred with intent. They are accidents of careless broods, malformed outcomes that should have died or been devoured. Sometimes the opposite occurs. A defect that should have doomed the creature instead grants prodigious size and resilience. Extra mass, redundant organs, and even multiple heads allow it to endure where others perish.

From its earliest days, such a brute consumes more than its share. It tramples littermates, outpaces rivals, and survives wounds and privation that would kill a normal youngling outright. By maturity it becomes immense, swollen and scarred by a life sustained entirely by excess.

When the swinefolk raid, these behemoths crash from treeline or ruin without warning, slamming into horses, wagons, and barricades alike. Wood splinters, carts overturn, and stores spill into the dirt. The drove surges behind the destruction, falling upon the wreckage in a frenzy of feeding while resistance is crushed under sheer mass. They are not leaders and are not obeyed. Their hunger is vast, and they will turn on kin as readily as foe.
