The imposing Praetors, stalwart guardians of the Templums, stand vigilant, shielding their Consul from any threat that dares to approach their sacred places of worship.
While one might expect that the angelic hosts of the Faceless and the flocks of Cherubs would ensure the safety of their devotees, this is not the case. Similar to the Pantheon, the actions and intentions of the lesser Seraphim remain inscrutable to mortals. While they may descend from their high perches to smite potential invaders, they are just as likely to observe passively as their mortal followers are slaughtered by invaders. Interpreting this as a test of their faith's worthiness, the Seraphic Cults, particularly the Praetors, place great emphasis on martial prowess.
Armed with heavy maces bearing the Ocular symbol of their creed, the Praetors are engines of violence held by supreme self control. Standing in near-total stillness, even in the stifling heat of the deserts, they are quick to strike any that would do harm upon their kin and masters.
