Striders are amongst the strangest entities associated with the Tormentor Cults. Towering high above mortal men upon three impossibly long legs, they amble across the landscape with an unnerving grace that seems wholly at odds with their grotesque appearance.

Their bodies resemble vast masses of flesh, scar tissue and cage-like growths suspended atop their towering frames. Around this central bulk writhe several elongated arms, constantly reaching, grasping and searching for anything unfortunate enough to stray within reach.

Unlike many other Collectors, the creature appears to possess little interest in violence for its own sake. It is a gatherer.

Victims seized by its grasping limbs are dragged into the living prison contained within its swollen body. What becomes of those taken is not fully understood. Survivors are almost unheard of.

Tormentor Cults often regard the appearance of a Strider as a sign of profound significance, luring the creatures towards ritual sites with offerings of prisoners and sacrifices or following in their wake as though guided by revelation. Whatever their true nature, Striders seem driven by a singular compulsion: to gather. Once something has been gathered, it is rarely returned.
