The Abhorrent vampires are the result of Lord Nachzehrer’s twisted experiments, an army of ghoulish abominations, little more than rabid fiends driven by endless hunger and bloodlust, with scant capacity for thought or reason.
These monstrosities are born from a bestial strain of the vampiric disease, mixed with muddled physiological derivatives. Twisted and degenerate, the lord’s creations are far removed from the aristocratic bloodlines of the region.

The Blood is a curse, offering only an eternal hunger that warps both mind and body. Those it infects become parasite-predators, their humanity long since departed. Although they may don the trappings of nobility or chivalry common in the Empire, they carry a dark nature that transcends mortal morality.
The curse of the Blood is ancient. References to the sanguophagic predators can be found even in the shattered carvings of the Ancient Scythrians, suggesting that Doaden’s Vampires are not a product of the Cataclysm but something older and fundamentally tied to Doaden itself.

Once an honored member of the Sanguine Court, Lord Nachzehrer's obsession with blood infusions and genetic modifications had irreversible effects on his mind and body. He is driven by an unrelenting desire to become the perfect apex predator, emulating the Cryptstalkers and Bloodhounds, the ultimate hunters of the night.
On his mad quest for power, he began mixing his own blood, and that of his servants, with fiendish creatures that stalk the dark corners of the world. With each infusion, his body and mind became more erratic and unstable until he was finally exiled, forced to dwell in his desolate castle, far from the courts of his former kin. There, deep within his laboratory, he continues his experiments, unhindered by morality or restraint.
