Greetings Travellers!
March has arrived and with it comes a well-earned “vacation” for the hard-working Penitent Crusaders. In this month’s Miniatures Collection, be prepared for tropical heat, lush vegetation, and the Crusade’s usual righteous optimism that lasts until someone gets dragged screaming into the shrubbery.
Rest and relaxation are not guaranteed on this trip, but at least there's a charming donkey to carry your burdens.

Miniatures Collection - The Expedition
This month's new collection expands upon the mighty Penitent Crusade, revealing these pious warriors decidedly outside their comfort zone. You’ll recognise some classic silhouettes - Bulwarks, a Supplicant, even a Manticorac - but here they are broken, bedraggled, and far removed from the confidence possessed by the massed ranks of the Iron Legion.
Expect sun-bleached armour. Salt-and-sweat-stained cloaks. Doubt creeping in where faith once stood unchallenged.
And don’t forget the donkey. We’re very excited about the donkey…
Faction Pack - The Expedition
Alongside the miniatures, you've got a new 5e Faction Pack. As always, it includes full statblocks and descriptions, but this time we’ve gone even deeper on immersion.
The Azerai Church has cast its gaze far beyond the Empire’s borders, sending crusaders across the sea to investigate rumours of a new land, perhaps untouched by corruption…
The results, as you might expect from Doaden, are less than ideal.
This pack is more stacked than usual. We’ve created a collection of in-universe reports, field notes, and expedition documents designed to immerse your players and inspire your campaigns.
It might be a doomed venture, but it is a richly documented one…

March Painting Competition
As is now customary, we’ll be running another monthly painting competition featuring the Expedition models.
Last month’s Swine Raid entries were absolute stunners, packed with incredible dioramas and gloriously pork-fuelled carnage.
We’d love to see even more of you join in this time. Our Discord is the place to get involved, share your work, and follow the competition updates.

Winners will receive STL rewards - and, of course, the eternal admiration of your fellow hobbyists.
We hope you’re ready to join this doomed Expedition. We had an absolute blast creating this set and are already looking forward to creating the horrors awaiting these unfortunate souls.
