The Lore

The Lost Continent, known as the Paradisus Martyrum by the devout followers of Azerai or Teo-Xacan by its mysterious inhabitants, is a hot, rain-soaked wilderness of choking jungle, treacherous coasts, and half-buried remnants that draw the desperate and the devout in equal measure. From Penitent’s Landing, expeditions attempt to press inland to carve roads, raise camps, and claim that which the Imperial Church believes to be theirs by divine right, regardless of the toll this strange land takes in blood, disease and slow death.
