The Keepers of Keys & Secrets are an inseparable pair, two Eidolons forged to enforce the unbreakable boundaries of Balazar’s dominion. Together, they ensure that no soul walks a forbidden path and no truth escapes its reckoning.

The Keeper of Keys, massive and motionless, is clad in leather and draped in thousands of arcane keys. Its many eyes pierce veils of glamour and denial, seeing not what is presented, but what is. It moves only when necessary, but when it does, the consequences are absolute, barring the unworthy, punishing the trespasser, and silencing the disobedient. It yields only to its counterpart.

The Keeper of Secrets is its mirror and mind. Smaller, silent, and utterly perceptive, it reads the soul like a scroll. All who seek Balazar’s blessing must pass before its unseen gaze. Promises uttered in its presence become binding truths. Lies unravel. Secrets collapse. Ambition dies in the silence it brings.

When a seeker is judged worthy, the Keeper of Secrets selects a single key from its sibling’s body and inserts it into a floating golden orb at court’s center. What follows is not entry, it is transformation. And not all who emerge are whole.
