The blessed child, the perfect son, the Immaculate. The mechanism known as Cain is the pinnacle of Eve & her Engineer’s collaboration, and most likely their last.
The Immaculate is a being that borders on the divine. A demi-god, a blessed prince of gear & engine, each of their inner mechanisms are subtle masterworks of art and invention beyond comprehension of any, except perhaps by Allstein’s most august Technomagi.
To look past Cain’s outward perfection, the technically minded would notice those same hallmarks of the Engineer’s ultimate failure. No matter the intricacy of mechanism, and efficiency of engine, the Immaculate is not possessed of its own Animus, the pipes and veins running from its gorgeously sculpted form draw backwards to an almighty mortal battery. Living folk, hooked up and slowly drained of their life force to power this mechanical princeling.
To face the Immaculate Cain in combat is to face perfect annihilation. Standing near thrice the height of a man and carrying a yet taller spear, he fights with a graceful poise that would put even Balazar’s most skilled assassins to shame.
In spite of all this, the Immaculate is still fettered to his machinery though, an essential fact that keeps him sequestered away from a world that ought to lay supplicant at the feet of this perfect child.
