Howdy Folks!

With the start of the year behind us and the Acaridian Prophet well on his way to wherever he's going, it’s time to take a look at what’s coming in February. This month we’re adding a new kind of Beastmen to the lineup: the Porcine, a predatory threat that stalks the Empire’s perilous trade routes, where even meagre abundance can invite sudden, senseless destruction.

The new release is focused on these ravenous swinefolk in all shapes and sizes, as well as the plundered wreckage they leave behind. It’s hunger without restraint and violence without purpose, with a talent for turning “well provisioned” into “well… that’s gone.”

The Dinner Bell Rings

For our first preview, we’re inviting the Porcine Raiders to the table - brutal front line scavengers who hit fast, hit hard, and treat your caravan like an all-you-can-grab situation.

Alongside them, we’re introducing the Swine Shaman, a revered instigator whose presence can whip the raiders into a frothing frenzy and keep the violence pointed in (roughly) the same direction, at least until something more edible appears.

As you can see, our talented concept artist Daniil has put extra care into this month’s concept images, capturing every disgusting, blubberous detail. We hope you enjoy it!

Keep an eye out for the full release which will include this species’ hideous offspring, an unamused merchant and the result of what happens when a mutated pig discovers a grain silo and a lack of supervision. Alongside these units, expect some awesome terrain ideal for building roadside encounters.

A Roadside Perspective

This release will allow you to drop the Porcine into your adventures as a fresh Beastman threat, ideal for journeys where travel is meant to feel dangerous, chaotic, and hard to control. The faction pack is a standalone release that includes 5e statblocks and lore for these creatures, along with extra resources for building your encounters. You’ll also receive the beautifully hideous art pieces shown in this post!

Keep an eye out for the full reveal at the end of the month and for the miniature release arriving in February!

Cheers,

The Bestiarum Team
