Painting Competition | Winner Announcement | The Expedition | March 2026

Our Monthly Painting Competition returned to the community Discord this March with a theme inspired by The Expedition. As always, we asked painters to submit entries featuring at least one miniature from the newest release, and the community delivered with some lovely entries straight from Penitent’s Landing.
Once submissions closed, the community voted for their three favourite entries. From that group of finalists, the Bestiarum Team selected the official winner.
Below, you’ll find the community favourites, our team’s winning pick, and the other awesome entries we received this month.

These entries were voted as this month's top 3 by the members of our community Discord server - congratulations!
Entry #1 - "Discover new places they said" by stephenas1
In a similar fashion to last month's winning entry, "stephenas1" treats us to another multi-material mini-diorama featuring a range of natural materials and paints, representing a slice of a scene with one of the Azerai Trailblazers stumbling into a cliff edge after cutting his was through the dense jungle foliage. Stunning work!
Entry #2 - Azerai Pathfinder with Manticorac Stalker by Covenants
The second winner of our community vote is "Covenants" with their excellent dual entry featuring the Azerai Pathfinder with his Manticorac Stalker. This entry features nice contrasting colours, great painting and some awesome bases with fitting foliage to finish things up - great work!
Entry #3 - "Look! It's a lion! Oh my god!" by Sir_Brude
Our final winner of the month is "Sir_Brude" with his rendition of the Manticorac Stalker, this time without his master accompanying him. This piece features some lovely painting exclusively using acrylic paints and some nice base customization to round things off.
Bestiarum Vote - March 2026 Winner
This month, the Bestiarum Team picked "Covenants" as their winner of the Monthly Painting Competition!
The team was a big fan of the complementarity of the two models, the beautiful painting work and great colour choices, as well as the fitting 'jungly' bases which were created for these models. Great work and congratulations!
Another big congratulations from us to all top 3 participants!
Our competition winner will receive a digital miniature release of choice and an honorary title on the server with the runners-up receiving a digital product of choice as well.
A big thanks to all of our participants in this month's competition - it was a joy to see everyone come together, share their progress and paint these models according to their personal vision. We hope to see you all compete again next month!
