This July, we’re heading to the muddy streets, rattling gates and extremely flammable barricades of the Empire with The Watchful Militia, our newest Miniatures Collection and expansion to the Folk of the Realm.
This release is all about the brave, terrified and questionably trained people standing between civilisation and whatever horrible thing is currently trying to climb over the wall.

Miniatures Collection - The Watchful Militia
The Watchful Militia is a great release for anyone looking to fill their towns, villages, roads, taverns, gatehouses, and “oh look, the players started another riot” encounters with useful human NPCs. From a disorganized bunch of Peasant Rabble to your indispensable Town Guards, some Brute Guards to break up the tougher crowds and a Guard Captain to lead the charge: everything you need for angry mobs, suspicious watchmen or the poor souls tasked with asking your party to please stop making things worse.
As you may have noticed, both the Peasant Rabble and the Town Guards come with a widely customisable modular kit, in case you need a whole army of these guys to humble your players who seriously can’t keep getting away with this…
Also included are a set of Improvised Barricades, because nothing says “prepared for disaster” quite like piling furniture, wagons, barrels, sandbags, and pointy sticks across the road. These terrain pieces are hugely useful for situation where something needs to be defended, from street fights to sieges and everything in between.
Faction Pack: The Watchful Militia
As always, the miniatures are accompanied by a faction book, packed with lore, statblocks, and encounter ideas for bringing the Watchful Militia to the table. Whether your players are defending a village, facing down a revolt or being politely but firmly denied entry at the gate, this book gives you plenty of ways to make your ordinary folk matter.
We've implemented a shiny new format for this month's book, including a long awaited jump to the 5.5E standard for statblocks. Let us know what you think!

June Painting Competition
Our Monthly Painting Competition continues ever on over in the community Discord server. Each month, we invite the community to paint or build something using the latest miniatures, then share their work after three weeks of hobby time.
As always, there are STL rewards on the line for participants, as well as the ever-important adoration of your fellow hobbyists, of course!
We hope you’re looking forward to The Watchful Militia. It’s a practical, characterful release full of models you can drop into almost any campaign or skirmish board and we’re hoping to see these models show up in plenty of games.
