Wandering Vagabonds | Lone Heroes | News from the Forge

|
Those of you who have been craving more Lone Heroes should be particularly excited for this month's release!
We’re heading back to the Empire, away from the Lost Continent’s monsters and into a different kind of danger. Out on muddy roads and between crumbling settlements, survival often falls to wanderers, sell-swords, pilgrims, and exiles with no banner to follow and no real place to call home.
The Wanderers of Doaden promises a grim collection of 'heroic' miniatures, bringing with them all the hard-earned character you’d expect from folk living on the fringes of civilisation.
Let's check them out!
First up, we've got Ser Hadric. A hedge knight still clinging to the last scraps of chivalry and noble pride long after both have stopped being much use to him. Accompanied by his squire Ingo, Hadric brings a wealth of battered pomposity to any encounter.
Our second character gives a very different impression: Necromancer Murde cuts a bleak figure even by the Empire’s standards, trailing behind a company simply known as "the Dead Men" with his watchful Baleflame Familiar.
Quiet, deliberate, and thoroughly unsettling, he he's sure to intimidate anyone on his path, never quite making it clear whether he is ally, gaoler, or something worse altogether.
Who else is travelling along with Sir Hadric and his squire, and who are these Dead Men? Find out soon in the full reveal!
... Wait, what's this lil' guy?
How's that for a curveball?
There’s still plenty more from this release to show off, with more road-worn characters, strange companions, as well as some (un)holy terrain pieces to build unique locations to explore while travelling across the Empire.
We’re excited to show you the full reveal later this month. The Wanderers expand the roster of unique character roaming Doaden with their own enigmatic goals. We hope you're excited to meet them!
Cheers,
The Bestiarum Crew
