Craft Crusades - Lore, Cinema & Oil Painting Tutorialsx
Craft Crusades has put together an absolutely gorgeous video, combining some excellent voiceover work with stunning miniature cinematography, all capped off with an oil painting tutorial - and some extremely kind words that made us all blush.
Painting from the Loam - A Mossy Painting Tutorial
Soilbound friend of the show Painting from the Loam has put together a fantastic painting tutorial using the Dreadwatch Watchtower. He’s gone for a wonderfully overgrown, moss-covered finish that breathes an incredible amount of life into the old ruins.
Scanner Barkley - The Lore of Dreadwatch
The Trench Loremaster himself, Scanner Barkley, has taken a deep dive into Dreadwatch and the dark history of the Prison City. This longer-form video is a great watch, particularly if you haven’t delved into the Lore PDF yet and want to learn more about the Sundered Stockade you’re busy printing.
KiriothTV - Campaign Review
The always excellent Kirioth has checked out the campaign for himself, printing off a selection of pieces and getting to grips with the Keystone System.
Launching Keystone was a major undertaking for us, so we’d be lying if we said it wasn’t slightly nail-biting waiting to hear what he thought! Check out the video to see how he got on.
There’s a follow-up planned for the near future too, and we can’t wait to see him put the system properly through its paces.
Mr Bones 40k - An Anatomists Short Story
While not strictly set within Dreadwatch, this excellent audio drama from Mr Bones brings the dread Anatomists to life in a way that beautifully fits the atmosphere of the Prison City.
It’s also a great spark for a campaign of your own - perhaps with the Anatomists preying upon the unfortunate denizens of Greyhaven...
Heartwood Abyss - Dark Fantasy Prison Diorama
Diorama-maker extraordinaire Heartwood Abyss has created a spectacular prison-scape featuring the Harrowed Slave Giant alongside a whole host of Dungeonesque decorations. We initially got in contact for the Halls of Suffering campaign, but we’re sure you’ll agree this diorama is equally at home in the Prison City.
We really can’t overstate how special it’s been seeing all of these videos. Watching other people explore Dreadwatch through painting, lore, gaming and diorama-building has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s got us absolutely amped to keep this terrain train chugging along.
We’ve also released a Dreadwatch build video of our own, kicking off a new pack of instructional material to help you get to grips with the Keystone System and explore just how much you can build with it.
